chinese new year has lost its meaning.. every since grandma died.. cos my other relatives come to our house to visit grandma.. after all.. isn't it where the eldest is where all will go? its different when you have grown up.. and things were different back then when we were kids.. but now i feel Jesus asking.. how do i show love to my other relatives? pple who are relatives.. but you hardly even know.. arghhh! i said i wanted to learn how to make suan pan zi from my aunt cos she really knows how to make very good ones!! .. and i haven't even got down to doing it!! arghhh! i don't wanna lose my Hakka roots!! i wanna know how to make my favourite dish time is running out.. :( darn.. i need to get down to it.. as it is.. i've already lost 90% of it!
someone shared something that really struck me.. what is in your mouth these days? who is the 1st person that you are always talking about? who is the person/thing that comes to your mind 1st? you know wat.. chances are.. that will be your love of your life now. so will it not be true that.. if that person is.. u will be constantly thinking and talking about? it could be a friend, a sibling, pets? or maybe even your handphone, camera, that latest gadget, instrument, favourite tv show, music cd? above all.. i know God wants to be that. that someone you are thinking constantly about.. that someone you are always talking to.. talking about. that someone that you can't wait to spend time with.. aye.. renew that desire in each and everyone of us..

how long more will we conform to the world's standards? so this taxi uncle was talking to me.. "aiyah so sayang.. if only you were a little taller.. " then he went on saying how the 1st thing is height, and 2nd is a beautiful set of white teeth.. a beautiful set of white teeth will bring you 66% of beauty to your face.. ok ah.. in my heart.. i was thinking.. how about pple with not nice teeth? no money for braces then how?! not beautiful? yes.. its true that the world will look at your appearance and judge you based on how you carry yourself.. how groomed you are... but isn't it superficial to a certain extent? its jus so normal that guys will have their eyes glued to a pretty girl who walks by.. its nothing new in this world.. ;) difference.. is You. You made the difference. You made me.. my existence in this world is because of You.
