oh boy.. wat a day. really. went to have bible study at NCC with jean today.. and somehow.. i had this really strong feeling that God really wanted me to hear this message cos i almost didn't make it. :)

So Pastor Prince went on with his teachings on revelations.. Jesus said.. i would rather have you cold or hot and not lukewarm for i will spit you out.. that's the gist of it.. and he did point out very distinctively that being hot for God does not mean that you're very involved with activities.. cos i have come across pple .. who are very active.. yet they are under the law. meaning doing things outta their own effort.. trying to earn their keep. and sadly.. sometimes it applies to me as well... yet we are already saved by grace.. not by our own works.. but by the blood of God. nothing we can do will be able to earn our salvation. so are we living under law or grace? Jesus has died for us and cleanse us of our sins.. we are holy by God's grace. Do we believe so? or are we still keeping law and grace at the same time or as pastor prince puts it.. jus to "play safe". Jesus said he will spit us out if we are lukewarm.. so its either grace or law. not mixed. it really got me reflecting on myself.. that Jesus has cleansed our sins.. watever we do, nothing will be able to change that! our sins are not greater than wat Jesus has done for us! yet some of us still feel dirty.. if our sins can simply erase what Jesus has done for us, who died on the cross.. then how will that be a great price? He bought us with a great price and sacriface! and those who believe in him shall have eternal life! and i am eternally grateful.. i am Lord.
Contrary to wat some may think.. i think there is a very good reason why Pastor prince is a pastor. He is still God's appointed whether we like it or not. Moreover.. who are we to judge. However.. there are certain teachings that are a little bit off balance. :) discernment and wisdom from God is all we need.. . cos after all.. man do fail.
As time goes by.. i feel something bad surfacing.. bitterness.. from my breakup earlier this year. i still have alot of forgiving to do.. and no matter how hard i try.. i still cannot break it. I need you God.. i really do... sigh.. am thinking alot about deliverance.. cos i really want to release anything bad.. i want to have nothing to do with BGR anymore.. at least for a long time to come.. unless you say ok.
I have chosen to stop going out with my guy friends one on one.. and i hope they can understand.. thank God i don't have many guy friends to begin with.. told them that this is not just them.. cos it applies to my brothers in Christ as well.. i jus simply don't wanna put myself in that kinda situation anymore.. its better off this way.. for both parties. whether or not the other party is ever interested is besides the point. perhaps some may not feel the same way.. but oh well.. i'm convicted.. and i will follow through. keeping myself pure.. and my brothers pure as well.. i will no longer date for the sake of dating.. cos i don't need that. heee... :) life is more fun these days.. in groups..
